Green Room, Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium

Sergei Eisenstein, director of The Battleship Potemkin, is renowned for the seminal film techniques he developed, and for his innovative ability to convey powerful human emotions on screen. His personal struggles to understand and express an authentic sexuality in a highly repressive political climate no doubt figured prominently in his fascination with the themes of rebellion and freedom in his creative work.

Join members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in the concert hall for fine wines and hors d'oeuvres before the Tuesday, October 9 presentation of The Battleship Potemkin with live orchestral score by Dmitri Shostakovich.

This reception is FREE to concert ticket holders, but space is limited. You must purchase a ticket and PRE-REGISTER to attend.
