A Chair of One’s Own

Create a gift of lasting support and cultural significance by endowing a musician’s chair in the Marin Symphony orchestra.

The Marin Symphony Endowment Fund provides an opportunity to honor musician and patron alike while ensuring the lasting legacy of the Marin Symphony, widely recognized as one of the Marin County’s greatest assets.

The endowment, established by the Marin Symphony Association Board of Directors,
designates these levels of funding:

Music Director $1,250,000
Youth Orchestra Conductor $1,000,000
Concertmaster $  200,000
Guest Artist $  125,000 (one set performance)
Principal and Assistant Concertmaster $  100,000
Assistant Principal Players $    75,000

The Board has arranged that monies designated to the Chair-Naming Endowment Fund may be paid over time.
