Chocolate tasting at 5pm in the Green Room, Marin Center
Concert begins at 7:30
Join us for a fun,
educational and slightly decadent pre-concert gourmet chocolate
tasting with Leslie Harlib, food connoisseur and columnist
for the Marin Independent Journal.
Make a light dinner
out of our sumptuous finger foods and hors d'oeuvres. Then
learn how to discern great chocolates from the truly superb
as Ms. Harlib discusses the ingredients, mouthfeel and subtle
flavors of a selection of high quality single bean varietal
bar chocolates from around the world. So as not to confuse
your taste buds, you'll cleanse your palate with fine port
or lightly brewed oolong tea.
|
| "Artisan
chocolate is as complex in flavor and character as good wine," Ms.
Harlib says. "It has almost as many notes as a fine
musical composition!" |
Port
provided by Prager Winery & Port Works
